A question that needs attention, and is usually asked about immigration by prospective applicants, whether they are only gathering information or seeking legal advise from a licensed or registered immigration consultant, is the place where to file an application for immigration in Canada.

Instead of submitting your application in Saudi Arabia (documents in the Middle East are processed in London, England) where you are deemed a resident of that country as per Canadian immigration law but instead decides to apply for a Chinese visa application as Canadian landed immigrant in China, then you just blew your chance of shorter processing time in acquiring your visa.
So, if you are decided on living in Canada as a migrant and wanted it done at the shortest possible time, then better review the CIC chart and see where you have to be to hasten your application.
